The UPA government has approved two highways projects in Maharashtra, under its flagship road building programme NHDP (National Highway Development Programme) entailing a total expenditure of Rs 3,001.19 crore.
The project will accelerate improvement of infrastructure in the state and also reduce the time and cost of travel for traffic, plying between Solapur and Yedeshi.
